This Months Featured Camp

"TSOMANOTIK" Agroecological Village

One-week Intercultural Solidarity Experience
 When:  June 27- July 4, 2009


 Who can participate?: 

This experience is designed for young adults ages
18-29.
 
Where will we go?:  
 
We will spend part of our time in and around Tzimol,
 and also travel to the colonial towns of San Cristóbal de las Casas and
 Comitán de Dominguez, and the Mayan ruins of Tenam Puente or Chincultik

 What is the cost:
 In order to make this program accessible to everyone, the program cost
 varies depending on your country of origin. The cost for this experience is
 $6500 Pesos for Mexican and Latin American citizens, $650 Dollars for US and
 Canadian citizens and $650 Euros for Europeans.  The cost includes lodging,
 three meals per day, local transportation, entrance fees, translators and
guides, and any other program-related expenses. This fee also includes
 transport from Tuxla to Tzimol in Chiapas and from Tzimol to San
 Cristobal de Las Casas on the last day.  We have only included transport to
 San Cristobal on the last day in order to accommodate further travel plans
 you may have while you are in Chiapas, especially since we will not have
 time to visit the Mayan ruins of Palenque

       Eleven-day Intercultural Solidarity Experience
 When:  July 9-July 20, 2009


 Who can participate?: 

This experience is designed for young adults ages
18-29.

 Where Will We Go?:

 We will spend most of our time in and around Tzimol, and
 also have the chance to visit the colonial towns of San Cristóbal de las
 Casas and Comitán de Dominguez, Amatenango del Valle artisan village,
 Chiflón waterfalls, and an overnight trip to the Mayan ruins of Palenque

 What is the cost?:

 In order to make this program accessible to everyone, the program cost
 varies depending on your country of origin. The cost for this experience is
 $9,500 Pesos for Mexican and Latin American citizens,   $950 Dollars for US
 and Canadian citizens or $950 Euros for Europeans.  The cost includes
 lodging, three meals per day, local transportation, entrance fees,
 translators and guides, and any other program-related expenses. This fee
 also includes full transport to and from Mexico City to Tzimol, Chiapas and
 a two-day trip to the Mayan ruins of Palenque.

        One-Week Intense Intercultural Solidarity Experience
 When:  July 25-August 1, 2009


 Who can participate?: 

This experience is designed for young adults ages
 18-29.

 Where will we go?:  

 We will spend part of our time in and around Tzimol,
 and also travel to the colonial towns of San Cristóbal de las Casas and
 Comitán de Dominguez, and the Mayan ruins of Tenam Puente or Chincultik

There is a volunteer program where you can experiance Chiapas and the EcoAg Village for $250.00 a week also. Looking for 16 to 30 year old people to help with building, planting, etc. You will be given a bed roll in one of the tents and 3 meals a day, plus you get the experiance of a life time. 
Just call or email to sign up for any week from now through the summer of 2009.
